Stephy's Story

Stephanie Ellsworth (Steph) has had a remarkable yet atypical journey as a writer. Once known as an independent blogger hobbyist, Steph is now known as an independent columnist and freelance journalist who created a lane for herself in the Journalism & Mass Communications industry.

She proudly graduated with honors and an advanced diploma from Southampton High School in 2009. She also further distinguished herself as an honor graduate from the ECPI University Medical Careers Institute nursing program.

Without any initial formal education or training, Steph became a self-educated writer who depended on her creativity, love for writing, and free online courses in journalism etiquette to create her own success.

After discovering her writing path, also obtained certification in Social Media Marketing and Content Marketing from HubSpot Academy after successfully completing examinations to demonstrate efficiency.

She has become the self-acclaimed "Voice of the people" as she uses her voice and writing to speak on behalf of those who feel silenced. She has become "the voice" for the African American culture, injustices and equality, human rights, and entrepreneurial development.

She is the expressive mogul behind the self-named brand, Stephy Says Enterprise which was archived after gaining over 1 million impressions on the NewsBreak App.

Steph has also organically grown a large platform by writing biographies, articles, and reference letters representing countless businesses, music artists, and brands over the years.

Her vision led to being recognized by colleagues, and placed her in multiple digital magazine features for her work.
